One o'clock is different. Spanish uses the singular form: es la una. Use son las with the other hours.

Notice the difference between es la una and son las.

1. Es la una.

It is one o'clock.

2. Son las dos.

It is two o'clock.

3. Es la una de la tarde.

It is one in the afternoon.

4. Son las cuatro de la tarde.

It is four in the afternoon.
